We can analyze the leakage condition and appearance of centrifugal pump due to leakage of leakage components. The seepage of mechanical seals is always produced in the area where the pump cover is connected with the pump shaft. According to the damage level of machine seal, the seepage will be different. The more serious the damage, the greater the total leakage flow. Leakage of mechanical seal is one of the common seepage conditions. Most of the machine seal leaks are caused by the following reasons:

Incorrect installation will cause invalid seal.

Under all normal damage, the machine seal is one of the parts. Only pump is in operation, the seal will be damaged all the time, so the service life is long. Once damaged, the moving ring storage ring can no longer be installed together. When leakage occurs, the corrosion of the material is stronger, which exceeds the tolerance of the size of the machine seal, which results in the corrosion and leakage of the sealing components of the machine seal.

Air fired machine seal. The operation without liquid in centrifugal pump will cause high temperature of machine seal. Under all normal conditions, it is not easy to have any problems. Because the water in the pump will continue to moisten and seal the refrigerator. However, if not, in liquid state, the seal will not be able to cool during operation and the temperature will rise until it is lit.

The pump has not been operated for a long time, and there is no necessary preparation before operation, such as manual shaking test run, etc. because the pump fails to operate for a long time, it is likely to cause microbial bacteria and the seal ring sealed by the moving motor seal in the middle of air oxidation to run the centrifugal pump without any solution, the sealing structure will be destroyed at the high speed of the motor, And it is likely to seep.

The pump transports solid particles with hard solid. During the operation period of the pump, the seal dynamic ring storage ring is installed from beginning to end to ensure that the pump is not easy to leak. However, if there is a large number of very thin solid particles in the material, it enters into the middle of the dynamic ring and the dynamic ring, and the interaction between the dynamic ring and the static data ring is not close. On the other hand, hard particles will destroy the smooth surface of dynamic and static data rings and make them unsmooth, which will cause sealing leakage.

Water leakage of hydraulic seal of O-ring

The probability of O-ring leakage is not very large. Generally, brittle O-rings are not easy to be removed and replaced immediately during the whole process of maintenance and disassembly of pipeline circulating pumps, otherwise dirty things will affect the sealing natural environment of O-ring during the whole installation process. It is also possible to over compress and crack the O-ring. In this case, only the newly upgraded O-ring must be removed and the tightness of the anchor bolt adjusted.

Sand holes leak in the pump casing or pump cover

Centrifugal pump is all cast parts before it is manufactured and processed. Some defects of casting parts will be removed during raw material selection and production and processing, but some sand holes may occur. It is not to say that the inspection is not strict, but it is not allowed to apply this kind of sand hole. The eye inspection is not easy to expose when testing. It is only reflected in the high pressure natural environment. If the sand hole is small and water seepage, it can be overhauled by industrial production maintenance agent. If the leakage is large and does not leak, it must return to the processing plant to remove and replace the pump housing.

Pump case split and leaking

The pump shell split is still in excellent winter. During the Spring Festival long holiday, I will receive feedback from the relevant problems every day. In winter, the temperature is very cold. If the temperature drops below zero, most of the liquid raw materials will be locked. After refrigerated, it will be several times the volume of liquid. Therefore, if the pump chamber is not discharged when the pump chamber is not running under the condition of relative cold, the cold storage material is likely to destroy the pump casing. In addition, it is likely to have impact during the whole process of installing the pump on the construction site. If the impact force is large enough to destroy the pump shell and cause micro cracks, it is not easy to detect without water release, but the problem will become more and more obvious in all normal application. This condition cannot be repaired, and the pump housing must be replaced.
